Manhunt is rated R for it's violent content. It is incredibly violent and highly stylized gory. It is definately one of the most brutal and bloody movies released in recent years. (The only more violent film is the film Grand Theft Auto: IV).

The film opens with two hitmen severely beating a man, knocking him out and hanging him to death with a rope.

A man is stabbed in his thigh, you see blood dripping from his leg.

A man shows a room fulled with corpses with flies buzzing around.

A man's eye is tored out with barbed wire.

A man is shot through the head and you see blood spurting from the other side.

An explosion kills lots of people and you see people having their limbs or head blown off their torso.

A man is shot three times, no blood/gore is shown.

A man commits suicide by jumping off a roof and you see him fall into a pool of graphic blood. It spatters everywhere.

A man tells a story of how he murdered his wife and two young children with a shotgun.

A woman's throat is slit open.

A man uses a baseball bat to beat a man's head. You see blood and brain matter on the baseball bat and you briefly see his head laying in a bloody mess.

A man is stabbed in the abdomen and blood sprays.

A man's head is cut off with a machete, you see blood and bloody stumps spatter.

Two men are shown being hanged to death and then have their throats slit with razor blades.

A man vomits stomach content. He runs to the bathroom very quick.

Throughout the movie, people are shot & killed in brutal ways.

The entire film is filled with intense elements, the plot itself is pretty tense, being about hitmen forced to slaughter out a crime-family. there are several graphic scenes which might shock viewers.
